Uber delivers ice-cream for Oz Harvest On Friday sweet treat for a good cause
People exhausted by excessive Pokemon GO! hunting can get ice-cream delivered to their door today thanks to a collaboration between Uber and OzHarvest, with the one-day-only scheme helping raise money to feed people in need.
Uber has tied up with OzHarvest and some of Australia's best celebrity chefs for the return of Uber Ice Cream. Today (15 July), Uber users in select regions of Australia will be able to request an ice cream delivery, with proceeds aiming to fund 100,000 meals for vulnerable Aussies. George Calombaris, Matt Moran and Neil Perry have each designed an exclusive flavour for the event, inspired by rescued ingredients.
